Growing up has been the hardest thing we've ever tried to do, so we finally decided to give up tyring & embrace the spunky little girl in ourselves that we had been trying so hard to silence!
Thus began Ya Ya Gurlz!
Still searching for the mold we came from, we listen to our music too loud, have more fun than we should on nights when we shouldn't, do our damnedest not to conform, & LIVE our lives to the fullest. We stay as far away from cookie-cutter "norm" as we can & live for the unexpected. It's often hard to pin point which of us is the mama & which one is the daughter, & we wouldn't have it any other way.
We tend to stray from traditional anything. We're late. ALOT. We cry, laugh, scream, & sometimes all in the same day! We wanted to create a place where a woman could feel good about being EXACTLY who she is! Mama taught me to take pride in being a woman & appreciate the imperfections, along with the blessings.
It's the imperfections that teach us we can fly.
